With the population development in the millennium, the city population has a progressive increase. Parents want to provide their children with more space and enhance their living standard. More nuclear families of the new generation move to the north district of New Territories, since the size of residential areas in North District New Territories are commodious and with fresh air. In year 1999, many large-scale housing estates were built in Fanling New Territories. In year 2000, Dawning Views Elementi English Kindergarten was established. The campus at that time was unique and novel in design. Creative and high quality small-class English teaching were being provided within the district. Besides, Montessori English Teaching Method was being integrated into the school curriculum. With the aim to foster children self discipline, having children being able to complete a responsible task independently and attentively. Ms. Wendy Yip Wai Yee, the Supervisor, has turned a new chapter for Elementi by introducing Montessori Teaching Method to the school and devoted to the training of teachers. She has encouraged the teachers to make use of what they have learnt, while focusing on life skills training. Teachers and parents are being inspired to utilize recycled materials to create Montessori teaching materials which will apply in different learning fields and scopes. This stage is indeed a great leap for the curriculum of Elementi.
